Impure Blasphemy Against Our Lady of Guadalupe!

Our Lady of Guadalupe
Pray For Us!
I'm deeply pained to tell you that Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Patroness of the Americas, is impurely blasphemed at the Oakland Museum of California.

The museum is hosting an art exhibit that includes a digital portrait of Our Lady of Guadalupe wearing a bikini, held aloft by a topless woman-angel! Our pure, sinless Heavenly Mother should be honored not mocked! And it will be on public display until May 29! May, the month of Mary!!

You and I cannot sit by idly and do nothing about this awful blasphemy! Even indecent pop artists gets more respect  than the Mother of God! Shame on those supporting this disgraceful exhibit.  We must do reparation and lift up our voices in peaceful and prayerful protest.

e-protest this blasphemy here

The silence and indifference of Catholics encourages the promoters of blasphemy to push their agenda. No other religious group would remain silent...they would scream from the rooftops! You and I must rise to this occasion and protest, with all our hearts. We must make our indignation heard!

We must show Jesus that we care, and that we love His Mother, the Patroness of the Americas, and that we will defend Her holy honor no matter how many times she is attacked and insulted.

And our prayerful protest and reparation is the only way of showing our gratitude.
On behalf of the Virgin of Guadalupe's honor, please join me in this peaceful and prayerful protest.

  1. This is horrifying and disgusting and I will certainly pass it along. I can't believe how sick our society has become. Thank God not all of us. But it seems that the people who are not following the path of holiness are only getting worse as time passes; each year it seems the intensity of the immoral attacks on our faith increases and becomes more and more absurd. Thank you so much for sharing this.

  2. Thank you, Margo, for responding to this plea. As always you champion our faith. "Amen" to all that you said in your comment. We must continue to defend the Truth. Hugs, N

  3. Nanette,
I protested this blasphemy and sent my e-mail protest, too. I wish this would end. It must grieve our Lord and Mother Mary. Thanks for letting us know about this!

  4. Hi Nanette, I found your blog link from Mary's The Beautiful Gate and your post title grabbed my attention immediately. I hadn't heard of this outrage! Would you mind if I blogged about it as well to get the word out? We need to protest this and make our voices heard. Noreen at

  5. Hi Nanette! Keep up the good work for Our Lady and the Lord! I've been filling out these e-mail protests too. Hopefully, it makes those who display such things think twice. God bless you, Nanette!

  6. God bless you, ladies. How pleased Our Lord must be with those who are defending His dear mother. Thanks for your comments and support. Will keep you informed of any results or news on this and other concerns. Hugs, N

  7. Hi Nanette, I wonder if anything ever came of this inappropriate picture of Our Lady? I haven't gone back to see if the petition did its job. I will do so now.
